Catherine comes from a family legacy of Iron-Workers, and grew up around the construction industry. After having earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College, she began her career at New Rochelle Contracting Corporation working for her industry mentor Michael Morano, who encouraged her to launch a WDBE Business in Construction.

Currently, Catherine works for Railroad Construction Company Inc, in Paterson, New Jersey and was recently promoted from Purchasing to MWDBE EEO/AA Compliance. She is Executive Board for the Supplier Diversity Development Council for the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, and currently obtaining a Master’s in Business Administration. She is the mother of two children, a daughter, Caitlyn Anne-21, preparing for Law School and son John Robert, 18, studying Fire Science.
