Chief Executive Officer
Job Path
Jack Fanous is the CEO of JobPath, a company that is making incredible strides in improving how military veterans and their family members connect to employment opportunities and develop their corporate skills.
Jack created JobPath in 2013 to help bring revolutionary change to a much-needed space. With JobPath, veterans and their family members can search for jobs, build a custom resume, access training courses, and connect with mentors who can guide them through the employment process.
Jack’s work with veterans began in 2006 after losing one of his closest friends, Lt. Seth Dvorin in Iraq. As a result Jack founded GI Go Fund, a charitable organization aimed at changing the lives of veterans and their families. Since its founding, the group has helped tens of thousands of veterans and their loved ones with employment and education, as well as health care, housing, and support in connecting to their VA benefits. In addition, the organization has recently announced a partnership with Panasonic, PSEG, and Kessler Foundation to develop the Veteran Training Center and Incubator Space, which provides veterans with live training from HR professionals as well as space for veteran small businesses to use to grow their companies.
For his efforts in the veterans’ community, Jack has been featured on several media outlets, including Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, MSNBC, and ABC's "Secret Millionaire". Jack was also called on to provide expert testimony before the US Senate on the needs of veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan and what innovative ideas can be added to the scope of veterans’ affairs.
Jack has also been recognized with several honors, including the 2013 Russ Berrie Award for Making A Difference, which came with a gift of $25,000 that he graciously donated to the GI Go Fund to further the group’s efforts with the men and women of our Armed Forces. In addition, he was named one of New Jersey Magazine's "Inspirational Men of the Year" in 2013. Jack has also been awarded the "Civilian Leadership Award" by both the United States Army and The Department of Veterans Affairs. He has been awarded the "Survivor Outreach Award", the “Excellence in National Guard Family Services Award" by the NJ National Guard, and the 2010 "Leadership in Veteran Employment Award" by the Department of Labor. Lastly, Jack has served as an expert speaker to the National Conferences of The College Board and The National Association of College Admissions Counselors.
